Lunch with Paw Dad

We all had a great lunch today with Paw Dad (Tal's daddy) at Up the Creek. We got some great pictures of him with the kids!

sooo funny! One of Tal's gifts was a gift certificate for Fleet Feet. I wrapped it up and when he was opening it Mary Bratton saw the envelope and said "IT'S A BILL." Just want Tal wanted for Christmas!!

MB's first skates

Mary Bratton's life long dream was to get roller skates. I never thought she would be getting any this soon until Santa found these " My First Skates." The front wheel locks on one of the skates so that she is not rolling around out of control. She also got all of the helmet and pads she needs! She was so excited - me too - I couldn't sleep last night b/c I couldn't wait for her to see them!!

Didn't quite get it..... then he took a little tumble and hit his head on the chair. :(




















And then tonight at 8:30 p.m. on Christmas Day!

Our small group had a birthday party for Jesus this morning at a temporary children's foster home. Really tugged at my heart seeing all of those sweet kids. Thank you Stacy for setting that all up for us.
We went to Cherokee afterwards for a little fried grub.

Look at sweet Garrett. It is hilarious watching him with Bryant and Mary Bratton. He wants to be a big boy so bad. He does everything they do and it is so adorable!!

He and Mary Bratton are so competitive. We love Bryant and sweet Mary Grace!!

I cannot tell you how blessed I am with these two sweet babies. Mary Bratton adores her little brother. For Christmas she wants a picture of her and her brother to put in her room. At Thanksgiving she was thankful for - her brother!! She loves to play with him. Sometimes it worries me that she is playing too rough, but he loves it!!!

Boys and girls!!

We went to the Play Place today with Stacy, Bryant and Mary Grace. Christy Burchfield met us there too. This photo is of Max Burchfield (don't know what that costume is suppose to be... force something... I'm not a very good big boy mom yet ), Power Ranger Bryant and Mary Bratton is Robin from Batman and Robin. I told her that this was a boy costume but I guess she was trying to fit in. She is showing her muscles while holding a meal that she is cooking! She is going to be so well rounded!








And while Mary Bratton is playing Batman and Robin with Power Rangers or something.... Beau is CRAWLING after this high heel shoe. And yes - he is crawling. And into everything!!!






And also under everything. I don't even know how he did this but I had to get a picture before I got him out. Is that child abuse?? Letting him suffer while I get a photo of it. Don't turn me in! The camera was right there.

I curled my hair before Tal's Christmas party - for the first time in years i think! Mary Bratton helped me get ready and saw me putting these cute, cute clips in my hair. I left for a couple of minutes and came back to her like this. Monkey see, monkey do!





Mary Bratton loves to take pictures with our camera. She took this one of Ta ta and I thought it turned out so cute of her.












I was trying to bend down so that Mary Bratton would feel good about taking a good photo. It was pretty obvious that she was about to cut my head off.
