Ben, Barbara, Isabel, D'Ella, and Noah all came over on Thursday night. Barbara was pregnant with the girls the same time that I was preggers with Mary Bratton. They are all 3 week apart - Mary Bratton's very first friends and they have SO much fun together!!
Mary Bratton got bucked off and is hanging on for dear life!

Here is Noah David and Beau walking around the kitchen with no pants on. Gotta love being a kid!
Here is D'Ella writing me and Barbara an "I'm Sorry" note for taking part in the mess in the bathroom. Isabel, Mary Bratton and D'Ella soaped up the bathroom. Not even sure what they did or how they did it but there were soap bubbles in the potty, in the bathtub, the sink and all on the floor. WE got apology notes from all of them!

3rd place for the Guest Girls
Tal just sent me the race results. Me and Mary Bratton both got 3rd place in our age groups! We had know idea b/c we left after Mary Bratton's race. I had my music to pump me up and these chubby legs must have been moving that day. I'm so excited!! Those races have such an awesome atmosphere - I've got the bug for sure.

my first 6 miles
This was the weekend that I've been training for. The 300 Oaks 10K race in Greenwood. This was Tal's first 10K about 4 years ago.
It was a beautiful morning and a great race. It was so great to have Tal, the kids and my dad cheering me on.
My time was alot better than I thought it would be so I was proud of myself. After the race we went back to my dad's hunting camp and rode 4 wheelers, watched football, shot guns and ate good food. Doesn't sound like stuff that a girl like myself would like - but I love it!! It was one of those days I will always remember.

Mary Bratton's 1 mile
Does she look ready or what? Look how little she looks! She and the little girl to the left in the green were battling it out for the whole mile. Mary Bratton was not going to let that little girl beat her. I told her at the end that it didn't always matter if you win or lose as long as you having fun doing it. I asked her if she had fun and she said " I had fun winning and beating that little girl."
I was so proud of her. She never stopped running! I could tell that she was getting worn out and she kept going!
I could hear Tal cheering and I was motioning for him to keep cheering for her!! you could tell that it made her happy to hear her daddy yelling for her!
Go Mary Bratton!!! everyone was cheering her on at the finish
She did it!!! We were all very proud of her!!

I wanted to get alot of pictures of Beau and his first trip to the hunting camp.
With Tal being the outdoorsman that he is - I'm sure Beau will follow in his daddy's footsteps.

Tal proposed to me at an outside chapel by a cross at Camp Bratton Green.
While we were engaged we built our own cross overlooking the water at my dad's hunting camp.
We went back this weekend to show the kids.

Both times that we went out on the 4 wheelers - Beau conked out. Doesn't he look so cute?
We were shooting guns off of the back porch and I turned around and Mary Bratton had these on. Beau laughed everytime the gun went off. Mary Bratton whispered into Tal's ear that she needed a new partner b/c mommy's shooting stinks!

Just washing the dog..........
Does this look like a good place to wash a dog??
Mary Bratton and her friend Anna Claire were SUPPOSE to be watching High School Musical in my bedroom while I was in kitchen cooking. I after I got everything under control in the kitchen, I walk back to the bedroom and they are washing the dog in the middle of the bedroom. Delta is standing on this towel, the sink is running and they are pouring cup fulls of water on the dog. Delta is a Golden Retriever - big dog - lots of water!!! They use our shampoo and bars of soap. The two of them were standing there in just there panties all lathered up ( and that is why I'm not posting the pictures of the guilty faces standing there half naked)
They looked at me and said "we are just washing the dog" - "we put a towel down" -
Did I mention that later they both lathered up in my Laura Mercier lotion - bottle half gone!
Thank goodness that Tal and I had a date night last night after all of this!!!
Here they are! Anna Claire and Mary Bratton.
Anna Claire is new to all of this dress up stuff - but she loves horses!! She is a daddy's girl!!
She trotted into the kitchen dressed just like the picture above and I said " Anna Claire --- you look like a pretty princess"! and she said
"I'm a horse" - and just trotted out.

Glory to God!!!
WE were driving and I turned around and saw these sweet faces and decided to capture the moment. I love these babies!!!
The moment past, we got to Little Tokyo and I wished that we had called a babysitter for Beau so we could eat in peace. He is full of life!!!Sweet and bad all at the same time. Mary Bratton has always been precious sweet but more on the serious side - like her daddy!
Beau is like his mommy. He gets bored and gets into anything he can get into. He is mischieveious. We tell him not to do something and he does it anyway to figure out if he is going to get in trouble for it. That is soooo me when I was younger.
But I know that God has given us exactly what we need in these children. They are HIS and he has given them to me and Tal to care for and to teach these sweet babies about HIM. I pray that God continues to give me the strength and patience ( even when I want to leave Beau at Little Tokyo :) ) to be a good mommy and to teach my children to have a heart of GOD.
Love you Mary Bratton and Beau Beau!!
