We all went out to Camp Bratton Green (Episcopal Church Camp) last night for special session. Tal's daddy came with us!Last night was the talent show and all of the campers are so awesome getting up on stage and performing. It will bring tears to your eyes. These campers wait all year for this! After they leave this session - some of them will go home and pack their bags and wait for next summer so they can come back! It is an awesome experience. And a great way to show Mary Bratton how God made them in such a very special way!

These two special session campers (below) love to play SECURITY every year.
Here is Mary Bratton signing in to get into the talent show!

Special session talent show is one of Tal's favorite nights of the summer.

Tal told me to watch Neil's face when he saw his dad - i did.... and it was the SWEETEST thing.
Neil loves Mr. Guest and them seeing each other was an awesome thing to witness!

There were so many people thrilled to see Mr. Guest back at camp. I'm so glad that he came with us.
Mr. Guest ran the camp for over 30 years and people were glad to see him back!

This little guy is a mess! I have been so worried all day. I took him for his first day of swim lessons.
Didn't go so great! I could hear him crying for 15 minutes while all of the other sweet mom's told me that it was going to be fine.
Alicia Lawrence finally called me down to the pool. I stayed with him down by the pool while all of the kids were taking their turns - I was trying to encourage Beau and encourage the other kids. I would cheer them on thinking Beau would take interest. Instead, Beau was just playing with a plastic watering can and pouring water on my feet and yelling 'yaaaayy!'
Yay Beau..!! We aren't giving up. I've paid for a month of lessons so hopefully he will get used to going!

Goodbye to the Kidd's
I don't like this trend AT ALL but now we are saying goodbye to more friends.
Doug and Cheryl Kidd ( and baby girl Landry Kidd in utero) are moving to Nashville and we had them over tonight for one last dinner.
We had our photographer on site ( Mary Bratton) take our picture together.

We met Doug and Cherly the week after Katrina - i had just found out that I was pregnant with Beau about 3 weeks earlier. We were down the street at one of the boat docks near the reservoir. Gorgeous couple, never seen them before. Doug starting asking us a few questions about alligators and if there were many around the reservoir. We knew that they were obviously not from the immediate area. Got to talking... they had moved in down the street. We had known them about 5 minutes and asked them if they wanted to come over for dinner. Within the hour... we were all out our house grilling out. They are the sweetest people and we are really going to miss them alot!
Best of wishes to our sweet friends!!!!
