Look who's walking

Beau started taking steps today! 1 year, 1 week and 1 day old!
He has been taking 2 of 3 steps here and there but today
he got more confident and started walking further. It is all over now!

Here comes Beau!





















Tuesday was 'dress up in your favorite outfit' day at Pinelake Christian School. I told Mary Bratton that she could wear whatever she wanted. She wanted to wear her princess dress with her tiara and dress up shoes...literally... plastic dress up shoes. Her teacher called me on my cell before I even got home and told me that I needed to bring some more shoes because one of the dress up shoes broke (she said they tried to hot glue it :) ) I told Mary Bratton that she was just like the real Cinderella that lost her shoe!

How Big are you?

We had a wall to measure just how BIG all of our guests were.
The Guest boys one the top 3 spots and little Raylin was the most itty bitty.
I measured how big Beau was at birth and just how BIG he is NOW!

I've mentioned before that Beau is extremely active. He was all about the space jump and slide! He loved it.

Today...Beau is the big ONE!

I love my boy so much. He is the sweetest, (most active), fun loving little baby boy!
I don't remember what my life was like before him or what it would be without him.
He has brought such joy into our lives.

Gardening with Ta Ta

Ta ta helped us plant some flowers today. Ta Ta is a great gardener and she was teaching Mary Bratton all about it. She has tried to teach me but I do not have the green thumb that she does. You can tell that Ta Ta slips in some gardening talk every now and then b/c Mary Bratton will talk about how 'all of this rain is good for the plants.'























Mary Bratton said that these were her gardening boots.

Beau LOVES to be sung to. He loves it even more when it's got hand motions to go with it.
