Lilypie 5th Birthday Ticker

Wednesday, June 25, 2008

My mom used to make us hold up signs for our first day of school every year.
I HATED IT! But now .... i am even more annoying and make my kids have signs for EVERYTHING!
At 5 years old... Mary Bratton thinks it is great. Wonder when she is going to realize how lame it is ( and how lame I am)
... NO COMMENTS PLEASE!

Mary Bratton started a little Art Camp today. She had so much fun.
It is only 3 hours a day for 3 days ... but it is still her first camp experience on her own!
She wanted to take her sign to Art Camp ---- probably because it is so cool!

I have to make sure that i always have lollypops - Beau asks for them ALL THE TIME.
HE calls them 'Be Bops'
We looked back on the drive home and Bekah and Nate were BOTH asleep with their lollypops in their mouths!

SO PROUD OF MARY BRATTON AT SWIM LESSONS!
my camera ran out of battery but she dove off of the diving board and swam all the way across the pool.
Before this week - she would only swim with her BIG mask that covered her nose!

See that BIG BOW....??? WELL.... underneath that is Mary Bratton swimming!!!!!
Go pumkin , go!

Beau was out of the water a matter of seconds before he asked for a lolly pop

I put Mary Bratton on a little ticket system ( with guidance from Stacy after she did something similiar with Bryant)
It started out kind of rocky but for the past 2 weeks, Mary Bratton has been an angel. I am so proud of the way that she has been behaving. Her goal was to get 10 tickets. We have been working on this for 3-4 weeks. She finally got 10 tickets and deserved every one of them!! She was able to choose either something that she wanted to buy or go somewhere she wanted to go. She wanted to take her friend Megan to Gatti Town but Megan got sick on the way. I told Tal and Beau that they better get dressed quick and we all went to honor Mary Bratton! I'm so proud of you Mary Bratton! love you sweet girl!

The water squirt game - how many times did we do this???? lots!

Beau has never riding these cute little merry go rounds - so i thought that he might start liking them if I would let him ride in my lap.
Well - he hated it .....

so with one croc left in hand - me and Mary Bratton finished our ride!

I was Mary Bratton's 'little friend' while we were at Gatti Town.

Thursday for lunch, I took the kids to Sal and Mookies for a surprise lunch for my friend Jenny.
She is leaving the Public Affairs Dept. at UMC and she is going to the Jackson Chamber Partnership ? is that right Jenny?
Anyway - she got a great new job - glad that i don't have to be saying goodbye to her at all - but happy that they invited us to join to celebrate with her!

this cracked me up - one of her co-workers gave her a huge container of gumballs b/c she would eat them off of his desk everyday.
They said that anything that happened she would say ' that deserves a gumball' and pop one out! - THAT IS MY NEW MOTTO FOR ALL THINGS FANTASTIC...... THAT DESERVES A GUMBALL!

They are looking at her little goodbye deal - everyone is gathered around and Beau is on the ground UNDER his highchair - he wouldn't get out!

Mary Bratton and her wiki stick creation!
MB and mommy got new haircuts on Thursday. I don't like mine - but her's is so cute!
