Happy Birthday to Paw Dad!! He is 71 today!!
We met him at Up the Creek after gymnastics tonight to have dinner.
We had a fun time!! He was a big time fisherman back in the day and Mary Bratton loves to come to
Up the Creek with Paw Dad and see all of the fish in the aquarium. He was also a big time football player at Mississippi State!
This was a hard family for an Ole Miss girl to marry into. But I have to say.... these State boys are pretty sweet!!
Happy Birthday to a great Father in law!!!! Happy Birthday Paw Dad!!!
We love you!!!

Beau got his first real haircut today.
I've gotten the ends snipped before and he didn't do very well so I have been dreading taking him to get his haircut.
I knew that it would be bad - and it was!!
Mary Bratton thinks that going to get her haircut is playing beauty shop or something... she loves it!!!

I have no idea how she did this.
I was afraid that someone was going to get hurt.
Not Beau's best moment!!
The sideways haircut.

Mary Bratton 1st annual dog show
Mary Bratton saw a dog show on TV this morning where the dogs were all jumping over hurdles and running down slides.
So she decided that she was going to take Delta and teach her some tricks.
This lead into the 1st annual dog show in Mary Bratton's room.
She got out her ballerina bar and the tricks began!
She was talking like an announcer... ' Ladies and Gentleman.....The amazing.... DELTA'..............
It was hilarious.
She said this was "the amazing balance the ring on Delta's nose trick"
Ta da....................

Mary Bratton made boxes and checked them off after Delta did a trick.
This is a picture that she drew of Delta balancing a ball on her nose.
She made me tape it to her jump rope that she tied on the doors of her closet!

This was the show we watched during one of the intermissions!
An actual trick - Delta rolling over!
This trick is Delta grabbing the treat in her mouth while the Ferris wheel is spinning!
This is when the trainer decided that there were no babies allowed.
Beau wanted to play with the ferris wheel!

This was the amazing "watch the dog trainer walk around the dog without touching the dog trick"
Amazing!!!!!!!!
She made me and Beau watch the show. Then would we take a intermission ( we had like 3 of these)
Then come back a watch some more! She wanted to wear something that made her look like a dog trainer.
I think the purple polka dot dress was a great pick by Mary Bratton ( just what a dog trainer should wear)
Beau dressed up for the show too !

Mary Bratton first sees snow!
Mary Bratton has been wanting to see snow for years!! Tal was running and said that he started running faster trying to get home and see Mary Bratton b/c he knew she would be so excited. He was sad that he missed the look on her face! She was saying ' This is what I've been wishing for - God made it snow'
We act like it was a blizzard because we rarely even get snow flurries in Jackson, MS - but it was a very special morning for Mary Bratton.
She finally get to see snowflakes!
Joy and Dade - if you are reading this.... she wanted to call you this morning to tell you that it was snowing.
She remembers Joy talking about making snow angels before you moved to D.C.

running in the snow
Tal is training for a marathon and had to run 17 miles this morning. I woke up and he was already gone.
Looked out the window and saw it was snowing. By the time we got to him, he was already soaking wet.
We had to get out of the car and play in it while poor daddy was still running.
