Stacy Seago's bday at Char

Happy Birthday Stacy! We had brunch at Char for her birthday on July 23rd. The jazz band played her Happy Birthday followed by "My Girl" - it was so much fun. These photos are Dade and Beau - all smiles wearing the same matching Polos. Tal's first tri-athalon

Yay Tal! He did so great. 1/2 mile swim, 26 mile bike and 7 mile run in July in Mississippi. He had only trained for the swim and the bike for 2 weeks before this. We passed him in the car and got to cheer him on with 3 miles to go - and then met him at the finish line - which was inside of the Neshoba County Fair! Mary Bratton was very proud of her daddy - until she got very upset because her feet got dirty inside of the fair.

Way to go Dade!

So this weekend was the Heart of Dixie Triathalon in Philadelphia, MS. Tal and Dade did great. And David Seago also trained very hard but came down with some sort of flu the Thursday before. We missed you Dave. As Joy and I drove in from Jackson close to the fair to meet the guys at the finish line we actually passed them and got to cheer them on. It was so great!! But the most entertaining was sweet Dade took off running after this woman's little weeny dog about 30 minutes after finishing a triathalon. Everyone else was too tired to laugh with me -but oh my gosh... it was hilarious. The picture of Dade bent over out of breath was right after he gave up on the pooch.

Mary Bratton's first swim lessons

She had so much fun - but no swimming so far. We have got kicking and splashing - that's about it. We are going to enroll her in another 2 weeks to keep her in the water. Her teacher tried to get her to go under and get a ring and she cheated and tried to get it with her foot.

Family pictures

Here are some different photos that don't go together at all - but I am taking the short cut. The group photo is of my uncle Ralph, Aunt Gabriella (green & Brown pants), Aunt Mary Gayle (khaki pants), Ta ta, me, my cousin Nat (Natalie), Tal, Mary Bratton & Beau. They came in town this Saturday and we all went to Keifer's to eat. They are all some of my favorite people - so so sweet!! Nat and Uncle Ralph and Aunt Gabriella are from Monroe, LA. My aunt Mary Gayle is a doctor here in Jackson.

The other picture is of my brother Ron and Beau. Beau was very comfortable with Uncle Ron and went straight to sleep. Ron is so sweet to Mary Bratton and Beau.

The other picture (non JA people will be wondering - what in the world) - but the JA alumni receive a born to be a JA Raider t-shirt when your new baby is born and they put the picture in the alumni magazine. This is Beau's picture. I could just eat him up - he is so sweet.

Pictures for Daddy in Texas

Tal is out of town in Texas and we are posting some pictures for him. We miss you Tal! We can't wait to see you tomorrow. Praying for you all of the time that you have a good, safe trip for work. It is not the same without you. We all love you so much!

More Poker night

The guys at poker night .. forgot to mention this were Tal Guest, Dade Dowdle, David Seago, Andrew Seago, Rick (Andrew's nurse), Chad Segrest, Scott Freeny, Jeremy Jackson. Eugene O'donnell couldn't make b/c he was studying for the bar - but his beautiful wife Jennifer was able to join us for dinner! Sha couldn't make it either b/c she was at home with her sweet new little baby - Graham!

Poker night

The wives in the small group planned a poker night for the guys at our house. We made good 'guy food' and left them alone to lose our money - actually Tal did well :)
The girls all took the kids and went out to eat at Margarita's. We all came back to our house to crash the guys poker night (they didn't mind us much - just kept on playing) Jeremy Jackson was there too but had to leave a little early.

Bryant Seago and Mary Bratton have a very 'special' relationship. We like to say a love/hate relationship. They just love each other one minute and are fighting the next. We think that they will end up dating, break up, date, break up.... They are so cute together! They also love playing with Miss Joy. She is sooo good with them and will play whatever they want. (obviously) - The picture with Joy lying on the bed in Mary Bratton's room - They were playing doctor - yes doctor. Bryant was the doctor, Joy was the patient and Mary Bratton was the mommy. Bryant kept telling us to 'get out' so that he could finish his procedure.
